With the sense of living in a world of dreams and creations, designer Jonathan Liang has always been pretty much absent from the reality of it all. Nue came from a character's name Jonathan designed as a child, a character always clad in different outfits he envisions, saving the world and all. He came to realize the type of woman he sees, the type of woman he appreciates and the type of woman that would love his creation on their body. With that, Nue was formed, a vision of the designer's dreamscapes and admiration of the power a woman possess.
Nue also means nude in French, the female abbreviation. The vision of the label focuses on the cuts, simplicity, function and practicality with an extra edge. It is all about the wearability and looking different at the same time. The label focuses on basic colours with an extra admiration towards the colour nude, as looking good naked is also a form of confidence and power that exists in every woman. Although, with the accessible price, every pieces are made in very limited number to ensure the exclusivity of each pieces and to bring a sense of personalized touch to the choices the women make.
